Jennifer Alvarez

Jennifer founded Doodle's Ranch and Sanctuary in 2016 after dedicating her time and efforts to help a diabetic FIV+ cat from Florida named Cheese Doodle (the sanctuary's namesake).  Jennifer turned her love for Doodle into a lifelong mission of fighting for special needs cats and always answering the calls for help from both those in her local community and those across the US and the globe.  She is selfless, determined and a literal wealth of knowledge about cat care and health, able to forge strong partnerships within the veterinary community and with other animal advocates, allowing her to better serve the cats at the sanctuary and provide assistance to other pet guardians struggling on how to care for their own cats.

 As the Founder and President of Doodle's Ranch and Sanctuary, Jennifer took her passion for people and cats and started a foundation that reflects the values important to her - helping special needs cats directly through the sanctuary and indirectly by helping their guardians who may be facing uncertain futures for their special needs cats.
